Ladies and Gentleman we are pleased to announce the return of the LabRats.

Last year?s LabRats experiment made us laugh, made us cry and made us wonder whether Jeff_wood has a social life.

For those of you who are new to the concept, let us explain. It's not rocket science. It's simple: How far can a player go? How much cash can they make? How far can you go on beginner's luck? Do players crack under the spotlight?

We'll choose 15 players, give them $100 and see what they do with it, how much they win or how much they lose.

Bare in mind last year the first Rat got busted after just 10 hours of the competition. However the last Rat standing, competition winner Jeff_Wood amassed an incredible $3,163.08!

The player who gets the most cash from their starting balance of $100 will win $500 and a $650+50 tournament ticket. Plus, anything you make you keep! So what have you got to lose?

Rest assured this year?s LabRats are going to be subjected to all kinds of twists and turns in their pursuit to be the ruling Rat.

If you want to be a Lab Rat simply email us at news@pokerroom.com. Application is open till January 24th so if being under the microscope with $100 for company sounds like your sort of thing then do drop us a line. Email us a short bio, a picture of yourself, and two reasons why think you would make a good LabRat. We want all levels of player from the beginner to the pro.

So head over to Pokerroom.com and give it a shot!
